Welcome from Dr. Tanya Price
It is my great honor to be the Head of School for the Baton Rouge International School. At BRIS we serve students from 6 weeks of age through 12th grade. Our focus is international and and our mission is to provide an education that equips students with the attitudes, knowledge, and skills they need to become competent, responsible, and humane citizens of their community, state, nation, and world.
We are proud to be one of the select groups of educational programs across the world who are accredited International Baccalaureate schools, as well as being a part of a world-class, global group of international schools, International Schools Partnership.
At BRIS, we have the unique ability to provide language immersion and/or language instruction in French, Chinese, and/or Spanish beginning in pre-school. Joining us later in your child's educational career? Don 't worry! We have a variety of opportunities for students to learn languages. It is never too late.
I am proud of our school's rich history. Started by two visionary people who wanted more for their children and the children of Louisiana, it has grown into a thriving community whose focus is the growth of student potential for the betterment of themselves, their families, our greater community and our world.
